Metamorphosis

My 50th Year Quilt is once again going through metamorphosis. What is this, the third change? Oh well! I'm a firm believer that you must really feel comfortable with the way each of your projects evolve and how they are completed. And this quilt is no exception. Suddenly it's evolving in the right direction. I'm happy with this latest representation. It now evokes the emotion I have about turning 50; spending time in Africa celebrating this monumental time in my life...As Martha Stewart would say " It's a good thing". Here's a snapshot of the new African dress print in the quilt..a new block, new placement of beads, trinkets - a whole new feel!
