Great News - Obama Quilt to be featured in book


I just got the wonderful news that my Obama tribute quilt "Everybody's All American" will in fact be featured in Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi's upcoming book. I'm honored and privileged to be a part of her latest project. Dr. Mazloomi is one of the forerunners experts in African American quilting. Speaking with her is so inspiring. She has high energy combined with a spectacular background in quilting and fiber arts in general. I'm so jazzed. One of the ink painted panels is featured just right. Oh Sandi, that is wonderful news! Warm congratulations to you! You are in great company. Dr. Mazloomi brought some of the quilts for the book for her lecture, and they are all really something!

Congratulations, Sandra! I can only imagine how spectacular the book will be. Your art will make it absolutely amazing.

One of my quilts was also accepted in her book. I do own two of her books and can hardly believe that one of my quilts will be in it as well. I am overjoyed to be in your company. Congrats again, Diana Bracy
